Why does the Toolkit require a its own registration and login page?

With the rapid growth in the number of users, from a few hundred to several thousand, it became clear that the TWiki was not the best way to handle the secure login for the ACORN Clinician's Toolkit.

The Toolkit resides on its own dedicated server: Toolkit Login. Using a dedicated registration and login page for the Toolkit is both easier for the users and enable our staff to better assist you if you encounter any difficulties accessing your Toolkit.

Furthermore, a number of organizations have expressed an interest in giving clinicians access to the Toolkit through their own web portals. Using a dedicated Toolkit registration and login page will make this easier to implement.
